Tasmanian Rock Lobster

On a still and cloudless summer day, I was skin diving in the beautiful turquoise waters off Tasmania’s east coast. While swimming through thick forests of bull kelp, I caught a glimpse of a creature poking its head out from a rock ledge. Astonishingly coloured with a deep blend of claret reds, the Tasmanian Rock Lobster almost touched me with its outstretched tentacles. Inspired by the rich tapestry of its shell, this magnificent creature became the first Mungerman design.
